You’re likely here because Christopher / Zach tapped your shoulder. Riverwest Church of Lake Oswego is invited to be the PARISH of One Parish One Prisoner for an incarcerated applicant returning to the Portland area.
JAMES: I am in a place in my life that I need positive, spiritual, and motivated people around me in my life—to share their wisdom and I can share mine—to walk with me on my journey. I tried it once before. I was blind and I ended up back here for the last 14 years. I’m ready to grow, learn, evolve, and be encouraged—and to do the same for others!
We have been building a network of pairings for Washington State. This is the first pairing we’re looking at for Oregon—you’ll be the first!
You’re here to assemble the Parish Team—we need at least 5 members of your church to register. That looks like three hours / month of letter writing, reading one monthly learning module, and gathering for monthly team meetings of discussion, planning, and prayer.
